Star Light Star Bright QAL


Finished the flying geese .Sharing my milestone photo. Working on my HSTs. Ever have that feeling that you should have really looked at the number of pieces you were going to cut and put together and wondered if you were really up to it.... These HSTs are a ton. 32 HSTs for each block need to be trimmed. How many blocks did I sign up for... well 16.... Starbucks and KLove Radio are my two helpmates.

Little Red Riding Hood Quilt

 I have been posting quilts that I have completed on social media and thought I would share here the details of the Little Red Riding Hood Quilt. This quilt was made by me to highlight the beautiful graphic prints from #littleredridinghoodfabric by #jillhowarth for #rileyblakedesigns. I added my spin to the quilt pattern #summersongquilt by #villarosadesigns. There are 2 borders that are not part of the pattern as well as adding additional rows and columns to make the quilt a nice twin size quilt.     I also used a charm pack for the inner squares which gave me more variety of prints. The digital edge to edge design I quilted it with is #gingersnappanto by #urbanelmentz  I personally prefer a less dense quilting as I enjoy snuggling under a softer quilt so you can see that the design is larger. Digital Edge to Edge Longarm Quilting Service coming in 2021.

                                Digital Edge to Edge Longarm Quilting Service coming in Summer of 2021.  I am working to set up my longarm studio to be able to offer digital edge to edge longarm quilting. I have been quilting for over 15 years. I have been fortunate to either rent time on a longarm or have a dear friend allow me to use her longarm. I am looking forward to sharing my love for patchwork quilts with other quilters. It is always so great to be able to collaborate on a quilt with fellow quilters.

Orange Peel Templates

Please ensure that when printing these templates you can measure 1" to ensure your measurements are accurate. I recommend cutting on the outer most lines of each shape (some are solid, some dash & some dots). The interior shape solid line is the sewing line. 3 inch template 6 inch template
